First night at Reggie's, and the early birds sold out.

Chicago had already been sending artists our way, including one who flew to Los Angeles just for Pass The Aux. In May 2024 we returned the energy with our first Chicago open mic at Reggie's, in collaboration with The Real Ones Show. Early bird tickets sold out before the doors opened.

One artist showed up three hours early and hit the stage. Another told us he worked all day, and after the event he did not even feel like he had worked. The freestyle series we filmed there, asking artists why they make music, still circulates.
