The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards are coming together fast. Billboard and Telemundo have confirmed a full roster of performers and presenters for the ceremony, set for October 22 at the James L. Knight Center in Downtown Miami. The show broadcasts live on Telemundo and Peacock, with additional streams on Universo, the Telemundo app, and Telemundo Internacional across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza host the night, which caps off Billboard Latin Music Week running October 19 to 21 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach.

Who Is Performing at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards

The confirmed performer list is deep and spans genres. Carlos Rivera, Ozuna, Manuel Turizo, Tito Double P, Kapo, Xavi, and Yahritza y Su Esencia are all locked in, alongside Pablo Alborán, Víctor Manuelle, Melymel, RIZA, and Chuyin. Regional and cumbia sounds are well represented too, with Elvis Crespo, Ha*Ash, Jessi Uribe, La Nueva Ola de la Cumbia, Nanpa Básico, Nella, Paola Jara, Pututi & Nesty, SANTOS BRAVOS, Tony Dize, and Erick Brian rounding out the stage lineup.

That is a wide cross-section of Latin music in 2025 and 2026, from Música Mexicana's current commercial peak to salsa, pop, and corridos-adjacent acts. The booking reflects where the genre landscape actually sits right now, not just where it was five years ago.

On the presenter side, Becky G, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Lali, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Lupillo Rivera, Ryan Castro, Mike Bahía, Ana Mena, Clave Especial, Los Gemelos, Luis Alfonso, Pancho Uresti, and José Luis Rodríguez are all confirmed.

Who Is Leading the Nominees and Receiving Special Awards

Peso Pluma leads all finalists with 17 nominations, including Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year for DINASTÍA with Tito Double P, plus Regional Mexican Artist of the Year in the solo category. Tito Double P follows with 15 nods. Fuerza Regida has 12 nominations, Karol G has nine, Prince Royce has eight, and Bad Bunny rounds out the top tier with seven.

Three artists are receiving special recognition on the night. Fuerza Regida will accept the Billboard Vanguard Award, acknowledging the group's rise as one of the most commercially dominant regional Mexican acts of the last several years. Rosalía receives the Hall of Fame Award in recognition of her global influence, which at this point extends well beyond Latin music into the broader conversation about what contemporary pop can sound like. Rubén Blades receives the Billboard Icon Award, a career honor that speaks for itself.

The Peso Pluma and Tito Double P nominations together underscore just how completely Música Mexicana has reshaped the Billboard Latin charts over the past two years. DINASTÍA debuted with serious commercial momentum and the nominations back that up. Fuerza Regida's Vanguard Award alongside their 12 nominations makes this something close to a coronation moment for the corridos tumbados scene that has been building since at least 2022.

For anyone tracking the business side of Latin music, the nominees and honorees map almost exactly onto where streaming, radio, and touring dollars have flowed. That alignment is worth paying attention to if you work in music or manage talent in any adjacent space.

What This Means for Artists and Creators Watching the Show

The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards are not just an awards show. They are a public snapshot of which sounds, artists, and labels are winning right now in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global music industry. Latin music's share of overall streaming has climbed steadily, and the artists filling this nominee list and performer roster are the ones driving that.

For independent artists and creators working in or adjacent to Latin music, the performer and nominee list is a useful industry map. The genres represented, the artists being honored with special awards, and the scale of the Telemundo and Peacock broadcast all point to where the audience and the money are concentrated.

The show airs October 22. Check [/events](/events) for any LA-adjacent viewing events or Latin music programming we flag leading up to the night.
