A$AP Rocky and Puma Drop the Mostro 3D Mule After NYFW Debut
A$AP Rocky's latest Puma collab brings brutalist 3D-printed footwear to the public for $250.

A$AP Rocky and Puma just made the Mostro 3D Mule available to the public, and it is exactly as wild as the NYFW runway suggested. The shoe retailed at $250 on launch day and comes in two colorways: a black and blue mix and a monochrome black, both with red accents threaded throughout.
The silhouette was first shown at Rocky's AWGE Fall/Winter 2026 showcase before hitting Puma's site. It is built using resin-based 3D printing, where liquid photopolymer resin is layered to create the final structure. The result is a sculptural, almost brutalist shoe covered in spikes from the upper down to the outsole, with a toebox that reads closer to an animal's paw than anything you have seen on a sneaker shelf.
What Makes the Puma Mostro 3D Mule Different From Past Rocky Collabs
Puma originally launched the Mostro in 1999. The name means monster in Italian, and Rocky has been pushing that concept further with each drop since joining the brand as creative director in October 2023. His role centers on Puma's longstanding Formula 1 partnership, and every collaborative style he has released carries that automotive thread, filtered through his Harlem sensibility and high-fashion eye.
The Mostro 3D Mule is the sharpest expression of that tension yet. Previous Mostro silhouettes leaned low-profile and wearable. This one is a collector's piece. The scaly exterior, velcro closures, and spike-covered outsole put it firmly in statement territory. You are not buying this to run errands.
For independent designers and creative brands watching this space, the Rocky and Puma partnership is worth studying closely. Rocky is not just attaching his name to existing product. He is functioning as a genuine creative director, bringing runway presentations, distinct material processes, and a consistent design language to a global sportswear label. That model, where an artist holds real creative authority rather than just a co-sign, is increasingly the standard for collabs that actually move culture.
The Mostro 3D Mule is available now on Puma's site while supplies last. Given the runway hype and Rocky's track record of selling through collaborative styles quickly, this one will not sit long. If you track footwear as wearable art, this belongs in the conversation.
Watch how Puma handles the next phase of this partnership. Rocky's creative director title carries real scope, and if the Mostro 3D Mule is where the collaboration is heading aesthetically, the next drop will be worth paying attention to.
