Argentine singer Angela has released her new studio album, Angela, a full-length collection out now on Universal Music Argentina. The album arrives on October 15, 2026, and gathers six singles she put out earlier this year alongside new material written around the same emotional world.

The project moves through themes of heartbreak, self-worth, attitude, and vulnerability. Six tracks from the rollout are already on it: "Amnesia," "Sin servicio," "Gato," "Mi eterno rencor," "Y yo que valgo tanto," and "No me esperes." The remaining songs on the tracklist are new.

What Is "Qué Hubiera Pasado" and Why Is It the Focus Track

The lead single chosen to anchor the album is "Qué Hubiera Pasado." According to the release, the song sits at the emotional center of the record and revisits a relationship that never fully closed, circling the question of what might have happened if things had gone differently. It is the kind of song built around a feeling most people recognize: the version of an ending that keeps replaying. Angela wrote the track from an intimate angle, letting the unresolved moment speak for itself rather than wrapping it up.

The album does not appear to have a single producer listed across the release materials, and production credits were not included in the press release. Streaming is available now through the standard platforms via Universal Music Argentina's distribution.

Where Angela Is Performing in 2026

The album release comes off what the press release describes as a sold-out show at Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, one of Argentina's largest indoor venues. Following that, Angela plays Córdoba on October 23, 2026, at the Quality venue. Tickets are available through the official channels listed on her social media.

There are no additional tour dates listed in the release. If more dates get announced, check the [Something Dope events page](/events) for updates as they come in.

Who Is Angela

Angela was born in Tandil, in the province of Buenos Aires. She entered music through competition: in 2008 she won Pasión Canta, a singing contest on the Argentine television program Pasión de Sábado. Her first album followed in 2009, and the lead single from that project, "Amiga Traidora," became her first breakout track.

In 2020, she won the Premio Gardel, Argentina's most recognized music industry award, in the Best Tropical Album category. The Premio Gardel is roughly equivalent to a Latin Grammy in terms of its weight inside the Argentine industry. That win established her position in the tropical genre specifically, which is the lane this new album continues to operate in.

In 2025, she expanded outside of music when she won the Martín Fierro de Teatro award for Actriz Revelación, the revelation actress category, for her role in the musical School of Rock. That crossover into theater adds a dimension to the artist that the music alone would not show: she is building a presence in Argentine entertainment broadly, not just on streaming platforms.

The self-titled album appears to be a deliberate moment of consolidation. Artists often use a self-titled release to mark a phase they consider definitive, and putting her own name on it after a sold-out arena run suggests this project is meant to function as an introduction to audiences who may not have followed the singles individually.

What Independent Artists Can Take From This Campaign

The rollout model Angela used is worth studying regardless of your budget. She released six singles before the album dropped, each one building the tracklist publicly and giving streaming algorithms repeated opportunities to surface her name. By the time the album arrived, half the record already had an audience. The focus track, "Qué Hubiera Pasado," was held back for the album moment rather than released early, which gave the announcement something new to offer even to fans who had followed the whole cycle.
