Ashe has confirmed her fourth studio album, The Girl Of Your Dreams, will be released on October 16, 2026 on Atlantic Records. The announcement comes alongside a new single called "Funeral," which dropped September 3. The album is available to pre-save now.
This is Ashe's first project under Atlantic Records, marking a label move after three solo albums released independently or through prior deals. The move puts her in a major-label system for the first time as a solo artist, which changes the infrastructure behind her rollout significantly.
"I feel like I've been trying to write The Girl Of Your Dreams album my entire life," Ashe said in the announcement. "I think I made it from the most healed, actualized version of myself and that gave me a lot of freedom to be funny, and dramatic, and heartbroken, and not afraid of any of it!!!"
She added: "There are pieces of every version of me on this album, but for the first time I don't feel like I'm trying to become someone else or escape myself. This is the best thing I've ever made and will probably be calling it quits if this album doesn't connect with people, hah!"
Who Produced 'The Girl Of Your Dreams' and What Is Noah Conrad Known For
Ashe reunited with producer and co-writer Noah Conrad for the album. Conrad co-wrote her Platinum-certified single "Moral of the Story" and co-produced her debut album Ashlyn (2021). Outside of his work with Ashe, Conrad has production and writing credits with Chappell Roan, Role Model, and BTS. His fingerprints have been on some of the more cinematic-leaning indie pop records of the last several years, and the press release describes the new album as aiming for a sound that is "huge and cinematic while dealing with the messiness of life."
How 'Stop The Wedding!' Is Performing and What Comes Next for Ashe
The album's lead single, "Stop The Wedding!", is described in the release as Ashe's biggest solo debut to date. According to the release, the track surpassed 15 million Spotify streams within its first three weeks, landed on Spotify playlists including Hot Hits USA and Pop Rising, became a Top 50 trending sound on TikTok, and charted on the UK and Ireland singles charts. The new single "Funeral" is out now as a second preview of the album ahead of the October 16 release.
For context on where Ashe is coming from: her most recent solo album, Willson, came out in 2024 and completed a trilogy with Ashlyn (2021) and Rae (2022). Willson drew on her Nashville songwriting background and received coverage from Forbes, People Magazine, and The Tennessean. In between solo projects, she collaborated with Finneas under the name The Favors, releasing a debut album called The Dream, which the release describes as being received "to great fanfare."
On the touring side, Ashe spent 2025 on the road with Kelsea Ballerini and Gracie Abrams, and most recently wrapped a run of support dates with Benson Boone. No headlining tour dates for The Girl Of Your Dreams have been announced yet. Check the [SDFTP events page](/events) for updates as dates are confirmed.
"Moral of the Story," her longest-running catalog track, was placed on the original soundtrack for Netflix's To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020) and, according to the release, reached number 2 on both the Global and U.S. Spotify Viral 50 charts at that time.
What Independent Artists Can Learn From This Rollout
The structure of this campaign is worth studying if you are an independent artist planning a release. Ashe is using a two-single pre-release window before an October drop announced in September, giving her roughly six weeks of runway with active tracks already in the market. "Stop The Wedding!" was seeded on Spotify editorial playlists and TikTok simultaneously, and the numbers in the release suggest the TikTok traction and playlist placement are reinforcing each other. She also has a long-standing production relationship with one collaborator, Noah Conrad, which gives her albums a consistent sonic identity across releases. That kind of continuity with a trusted producer is something independent artists can build intentionally, even without a major label behind them.
