Baylee Lynn Drops New Single 'Lucky To Be Loved' With Music Video

Baylee Lynn released her new single "Lucky To Be Loved" on July 31 via The Core Records, alongside an official music video directed by Kate Bowling.

The track is produced by AJ Pruis, a GRAMMY-nominated producer and songwriter whose credits include Megan Moroney and Maddie & Tae. The song was co-written by Lynn, Pruis, Emily Falvey (who has worked with Cody Johnson and MacKenzie Porter), and Dallas Wilson (who has credits with Lainey Wilson and Dylan Scott).

"'Lucky To Be Loved' has been one of my favorite songs to work on, and I'm so thankful I finally get to share it with y'all," Lynn said. "It's all about knowing your worth, owning who you are, and remembering what you bring to a relationship. I'm so grateful for the magic we found in the writing room that day. It clicked almost immediately, and I remember thinking, 'This one feels really special.'"

The video co-stars Lynn's dog Flossie. The visual follows Lynn going through daily routines including chores and baking before revealing that the affection she appears to be showing a romantic partner is actually directed at her dog.

"Lucky To Be Loved" is Lynn's first new music since her debut EP Heart On My Sleeve, released in March. An expanded edition followed in May.

Lynn grew up in Greeneville, Tennessee, taught herself guitar at age six, and later added piano. She made her recording debut in August 2025 with "Cautiously Optimistic." According to the press release, that single topped a Billboard new music poll. She has also appeared on the Nobody Wants This Season 2: The Soundtrack with the track "That's What I'll Be" and completed a 14-date North American tour supporting Maddox Batson earlier in 2026.

On the live side, Lynn performed "Lucky To Be Loved" for the first time at the Greene County Fair in her hometown on July 24. Coming up, she plays Losers Live in Nashville on August 10 and hosts two writers' rounds at Grindhouse Nashville's Live Oak on August 13 and September 24. Full date info is at bayleelynn.com.

For independent artists, the songwriting setup here is worth noting. Lynn shares a co-write credit alongside established Nashville writers on what is functionally a major label release. Getting into a room with credentialed collaborators early is clearly part of how her team is building her catalog.
