Coi Leray has announced MULTI, her third studio album, due February 26 on Epic Records. The album arrives alongside a new single, "Spin Back," available now on all streaming platforms. Produced by WhoisRodny, JP Beatz, and J Roc Stream, the single is the first formal introduction to the full-length project.
MULTI is Coi's first album since signing with Epic Records. She joined the label in early 2025 and released the EP What Happened to Forever? that February before spending 2026 building out a run of collaborations. The new album is available for pre-order and pre-save now.
What Is "Spin Back" and Who Produced It
"Spin Back" is a dance-leaning single built around a romantic reunion narrative. The production, handled by WhoisRodny, JP Beatz, and J Roc Stream, pairs melodic warmth with uptempo energy. The track follows "Nothing Into Something," her collaboration with Diplo, and continues a year in which Coi has moved through rap, Latin, and electronic sounds with different collaborators.
The single sits inside a 2026 run that also includes "Better Than Yours" with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and "Outside" with Eladio Carrión. According to the press release, "Better Than Yours" topped the US Urban Radio chart on Mediabase in July 2026. Those releases gave listeners a preview of the genre range that MULTI is meant to bring together on one project.
Coi described the direction of the album in a statement: "This album isn't about becoming somebody new. It's about owning everything I've always been and everything I'm still becoming. I'm not one sound. I'm not one style. I'm not one version of myself. I'm Multi."
Coi Leray's Catalog and the Road to MULTI
Coi Leray was born in Boston and raised in New Jersey. She released her debut in 2018 and built her catalog through two studio albums: Trendsetter in 2022 and Coi in 2023. Both albums produced RIAA-certified records. "No More Parties" went double platinum. "Players," her biggest charting single to date, reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Performance.
Her Epic Records chapter opened in February 2025 with What Happened to Forever?, a personal EP that set a more open emotional tone. The 2026 singles expanded that into collaborative territory, linking her with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Eladio Carrión, and Diplo across three different sonic directions. MULTI is the first full-length album to consolidate that period.
The album artwork reinforces the concept visually. Twelve portraits present Coi in different looks and moods, designed to reflect the idea of multiple dimensions existing within one artist. The title and visuals work together as a single statement about identity.
In her own words: "*MULTI* is a celebration of everything it means to be multidimensional. It's about breaking out of the boxes the world tries to put us in. Being confident and vulnerable. Soft and fearless. Feminine and powerful. A mother and a superstar. A work in progress and a masterpiece at the same time."
Outside the studio, 2026 included a set at Coachella, a co-headlining slot at BET Experience Weekend, a Marc Jacobs look at the CFDA Awards, and a widely-circulated appearance on The Jason Lee Show. MULTI brings the attention back to a full-length release.
What Independent Artists Can Take From This Campaign
The rollout structure here is worth studying. Coi used a full year of singles with named collaborators across different genres to build audience before the album announcement. Each feature brought a different fanbase into contact with her name. By the time MULTI was announced, there was already a documented range of sounds to point to. If you are building toward a project, [submit your own releases to our community at /submit](/submit) and let the catalog speak before the announcement lands.
The album title and visual concept also do real work. Twelve portraits, one title, one clear idea. That kind of creative coherence between artwork, name, and rollout messaging is something any independent artist can build on a small budget if the concept is tight from the start.
