Christian hip-hop artist Dante' Pride released his debut EP, Come As You Are, on July 31, 2026 through Tamla/Capitol CMG. The six-track project is available now on all major streaming platforms.
Pride, who goes by the nickname "The Rapping Pastor," is originally from Decatur, Alabama and currently serves as Youth Pastor at Change Church in Atlanta, GA. The EP blends trap production with faith-based lyricism and features a notable lineup of collaborators across its tracklist.
Come As You Are Track Listing: 1. Dear Gospel 2. Act Up (feat. Miles Minnick) 3. I Need You Now 4. Make Me Brand New (feat. Nathan Davis Jr. and CèJae) 5. Oil (feat. Erica Campbell) 6. Just Believe
Three of the six tracks were previously released as singles. "Act Up" featuring Miles Minnick, "Make Me Brand New" featuring Nathan Davis Jr. and CèJae, and "Just Believe" were all out ahead of the full project.
Pride points to a 2024 single called "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" as a viral moment that helped grow his profile. According to the release, he has over 300,000 followers across his social media accounts and, per the release, millions of streams across digital platforms.
For independent artists navigating the faith-based music space, Pride's path is worth watching. Signing to Tamla, a Capitol CMG imprint, while maintaining an active ministry role shows one way artists are building credibility in both the music industry and their communities before a major label deal comes together.
