DIA Drops Six-Track Latin Trap EP 'DAME UN BREi, ESTOY EN Mi'

Puerto Rican artist DIA released his new EP, DAME UN BREi, ESTOY EN Mi, on July 31, 2026, available on all digital platforms beginning at 8:00 p.m. AST.

The six-track project is rooted in Latin trap and leans into a more melodic and emotional direction than his previous reggaeton work. Songs center on themes of undefined relationships, desire, distance, and internal reflection. The tracklist includes lead single "MiSS COACHELLA" alongside "KEHABILi," "NO C DA," "VANiSH MODE," "DENVER," and "LA DE JAY WHEELER."

"NO C DA," produced by VAIH, was the first track released ahead of the EP. It addresses the tension between two people in a relationship that keeps running into walls, and it set the melodic tone for the rest of the project.

"Since I started, making music has never been about writing just for the sake of it. Every song comes from something I felt, something I lived through or something I needed to get off my chest," said DIA. "The EP comes from that same place: six trap songs with feelings and meaning. I wanted to speak from the heart without losing the urban sound or my essence."

The EP title, which translates roughly to "Give me a break, I'm in my own zone," reflects a deliberate shift. DIA frames the project as a return to a sound that lets him go deeper on themes of unstable relationships and unresolved conversations. The cover artwork features a silhouette lit in white and violet inside a dark structure, a visual that aligns with the isolation running through the songs.

The release follows a stretch of collaborative work that includes features with Yomo and Alejo on "SUPER ESTRELLÁ," and with Brytiago, Derek Santana and Fabriell on "HAGÁMOSLO II," as well as appearances alongside Soge Culebra, Maikel De La Calle and La Pantera on "Sustancias Controladas RMX."

The EP arrived two days after DIA received a Premios Juventud 2026 nomination in the La Nueva Generación Masculina category, according to the release.
