Peruvian brothers Facundo and Mateo Oliva, who record together as FAMA, performed at the official Rimas showcase during the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) on July 29, 2026. The set took place at Nublu in New York City, where the duo played for an audience that included music industry executives, media, artists, and international attendees.

FAMA performed four songs during their slot: "Nadie Como Tú," "Quiero Que Vuelvas," "Fuera de Mí," and "La Verdad." The performance came shortly after the release of "Nadie Como Tú," their most recent single.

LAMC is an annual conference that brings together emerging and established artists from the Latin music world alongside industry professionals. For an independent act, landing a slot on official LAMC programming through a label-affiliated showcase like Rimas is a real placement worth noting. It puts your music directly in front of the decision makers and tastemakers who travel specifically to find new artists.

FAMA is signed to or affiliated with Rimas Entertainment, the San Juan-based label and management company behind a number of prominent Latin acts. The duo's sound blends acoustic pop with country, funk, and organic elements, built around guitars and piano.

Facundo Oliva was born in 2004 and Mateo in 2005. Both grew up in Peru and are of Argentine descent. Before committing fully to music, Facundo pursued an acting career in Peruvian film and television and trained at Estudio Corazza in Madrid. Mateo worked in fashion and as a vinyl DJ with a focus on minimal, disco, and electro. The name FAMA combines the first two letters of each brother's name.

FAMA is active on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X under the handle @famaduo.
