Grace Ives appears as a featured vocalist on "HONEYLOVE," a track on Dominic Fike's new album HOW TO QUIT SMOKING, out now. Ives contributed vocals to the song after joining Fike in the studio, and the track is available to stream across platforms today.

What Is "HONEYLOVE" and Where Does It Fit on HOW TO QUIT SMOKING

"HONEYLOVE" is one of the tracks on Dominic Fike's HOW TO QUIT SMOKING, released October 30, 2026. The press release does not name a producer for the specific track or detail Fike's broader credits for the album. What is clear is that Ives's contribution is a vocal feature, adding to a year in which her profile has grown considerably following the release of her own album, Girlfriend, on True Panther/Capitol Records.

For listeners coming to Ives through Fike's record, Girlfriend is the logical next stop. The album was written and produced alongside Ariel Rechtshaid, whose credits include work with Charli xcx, Vampire Weekend, and Kelela, and John DeBold, who has worked with HAIM, Dora Jar, and Dijon. Dave Fridmann, known for his work with Flaming Lips and MGMT, handled mixing. According to the press release, Girlfriend marks Ives's first full-length release after a nearly three-year break from recording, and the album documents a period of significant personal transition. Pitchfork awarded it Best New Music and placed it on the outlet's best music of 2026 list. The New York Times, NPR, Stereogum, and NYLON also covered the record on release. Girlfriend is available on streaming platforms and in physical formats including signed pink vinyl, CD, and a 7" edition.

Girlfriend follows Ives's 2022 album Janky Star, which drew praise from The New York Times, NPR, and Pitchfork, with NYLON calling it "the year's most relatable pop record." Ives made her television debut around that release with a performance of "Lullaby" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and toured North America and Europe in support.

Grace Ives 2027 Tour Dates with Gracie Abrams and Olivia Rodrigo

The feature on HOW TO QUIT SMOKING comes as Ives is preparing for two major support runs in early 2027. She will open for Gracie Abrams on the arena leg of Abrams's "Look at My Life Tour" across four cities, then join Olivia Rodrigo's "Unraveled Tour" for dates across the UK and Europe. The full confirmed schedule is below.

With Gracie Abrams:, February 18 and 19, Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON, February 23 and 24, State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA, February 26 and 27, Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC, March 1 and 2, TD Garden, Boston, MA

No Los Angeles tour dates are currently listed for Ives in 2027. LA fans can check [our events page](/events) for any updates as they come.

What Independent Artists Can Take From Grace Ives's Campaign

Ives has been an independent-leaning artist for most of her career, and the way this year has unfolded is worth paying attention to. Girlfriend came out on True Panther, a label that has historically operated with artist-friendly terms, distributed through Capitol. The physical rollout included multiple vinyl configurations and a signed edition, giving fans tangible reasons to buy rather than just stream. The feature on Fike's album drops during the window between the album cycle and the arena tour run, keeping Ives's name in circulation without requiring a new solo release. That kind of strategic placement, landing a feature on a high-visibility project at the right moment in your release calendar, is something any artist building a long-term catalog should think about.
