HXG Drop New Single "Versus" Before New Project

Atlanta duo HXG have released a new single called "Versus" on Opium/Interscope Records, continuing the rollout for an unnamed forthcoming project. The track is out now across streaming platforms.

"Versus" opens with heavy drums, pounding 808s, and a trap beat before splitting into back-and-forth verses from group members Meechie and Beno. The central phrase "Pick a side and stay there" frames the track around loyalty, with the two trading ad-libs and references to their come-up throughout. The single follows "RedRum," which dropped last month as the first official preview of the upcoming project.

"RedRum" was produced by Cade and Sean Baby. No producer credit for "Versus" is listed in the release materials at this time. Both tracks are described as lead singles for a project the duo began teasing during the Antagonist Tour in 2025.
