Isabel Dumaa released her new EP Reverie today, October 23, 2026, via Lucille Records and Republic Records. The six-track project marks her major label debut and is available now on all streaming platforms at isabeldumaa.com.
Reverie follows Dumaa's 2024 debut EP Just My Nature, which included fan tracks "Quarter Life Crisis" and "C'est La Vie." Where that first project introduced her voice, this one expands the palette, with Dumaa zeroing in on young love and heartbreak from a place of hard-won self-awareness. "These are uncomfortable emotions, but I do want to feel them because that's a part of living," she said in the release. "I'm not in high school; I'm not in college. But I am still just a young woman encountering the world. And I think that I'm continuing to learn that."
Who Produced the Reverie EP
Dumaa brought in a cross-genre production team for Reverie. Sammy Witte, who has worked with Harry Styles, co-produced on the project. Dave Cobb, known for his work with Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile, contributed alongside Joshua Murty, who has credits with the Jonas Brothers. Arranger and multi-instrumentalist Rob Moose, recognized for his string and orchestral work with Lana Del Rey and Bon Iver, handled instrumentation and arrangements across the EP. The combination gives Reverie a sonic range that moves between polished indie pop and something more textured and acoustic-leaning.
Three singles preceded the full release: "James Dean," "You Don't Know Me," and "All American." According to the press release, those singles contributed to Dumaa's largest streaming month to date and helped push her monthly listener count to over 440,000, which the release describes as double her previous peak.
When Isabel Dumaa Plays Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago
Dumaa will play three headline shows in support of Reverie this fall. The dates are:, October 28, Mercury Lounge, New York, NY, November 4, Beat Kitchen, Chicago, IL, November 11, Masonic Lodge, Los Angeles, CA
Remaining tickets are on sale now at isabeldumaa.com/tour. The Masonic Lodge date is the one local to the LA community, and it is worth noting the venue sits inside the historic Hollywood Forever Cemetery complex, making it one of the more distinct rooms in the city for an intimate show of this scale.

Isabel Dumaa's Road to the Major Label Deal
Dumaa grew up in San Francisco and is now based in Los Angeles. After Just My Nature landed in 2024, she spent the next year and a half building her live resume in a way most independent artists would recognize as deliberate and methodical rather than overnight. She opened for Mark Ambor across twelve European cities, then returned stateside to support Benson Boone and Teddy Swims on separate runs. She made her festival debut at Summerfest in Milwaukee and, earlier in 2026, opened the first six nights of Sam Smith's residency at the newly refurbished Castro Theater in her hometown of San Francisco.
On the social side, a cover of Rose Betts' "Irish Eyes" posted to TikTok earned over 10 million views, according to the release. That visibility helped Dumaa more than double her follower counts on both Instagram and TikTok over recent months, bringing her total across platforms to over 800,000 followers.
Publicist quotes in the release from Atwood Magazine, Ones To Watch, and Sweety High point to a critical reception that has tracked her since Just My Nature. Ones To Watch noted her vocal restraint as a deliberate emotional tool: "Her voice is romantic and steady, almost careful, even when the subject matter is anything but. There is something in that restraint that makes the emotional impact hit harder, not softer."
What Independent Artists Can Take From the Reverie Campaign
The arc Dumaa has taken, from self-released debut to major label deal, is a useful case study. The moves were sequential and low-risk: a strong debut project, a support tour in Europe, more support slots with artists at a higher level, a festival appearance, a viral cover that had nothing to do with her own catalog, and then the label deal and headline dates. None of those individual steps required a major behind them. The infrastructure caught up to the momentum rather than creating it.
