Haitian rapper Jackboy released his new single and video "Heartbroken" on July 30, 2026. The track rides dramatic piano chords and wailing guitars while Jackboy reflects on the emotional toll of ending a major relationship and the feeling that hard work alone can't outrun bad luck. The accompanying video was shot in Mykonos.

Alongside the single, Jackboy announced his forthcoming album I Can't Do No Wrong, set to drop August 13. The project is 17 tracks deep and includes previously released singles "Hussle Like Nipsey" and "Derek Fisher," a collaboration with fellow Florida rapper C Glizzy.

According to the press release, Jackboy has accumulated over 1.5 billion global streams across platforms, including 375 million Apple Music streams, 290 million Spotify streams, 130 million SoundCloud streams, and 700 million YouTube views. His single "Pressure" holds a RIAA Gold certification.

Beyond the music, Jackboy has been public about personal changes in recent years. In a REVOLT Big Facts Podcast interview referenced in the release, he spoke about converting to Islam and stepping into roles as a family man and community leader. He also runs his own imprint, 1804 Records, named after the year of Haiti's independence. The label reflects his stated goal of building infrastructure for other artists coming up behind him.

That last piece is worth noting for independent artists watching from the outside. Jackboy built his own label, tied it to something meaningful to his identity, and is using it to create pathways for others. That kind of ownership thinking is exactly what turns a long career into a lasting one.

I Can't Do No Wrong arrives August 13.
