Jay-Z is back on wax. Beyonce dropped a remix pack for "Morning Dew (Donk)" today, and Jay shows up with his first new verse in well over two years. His last recorded appearance was early 2024, alongside Jeymes Samuel and D'Angelo on "I Want You Forever" from The Book Of Clarence soundtrack. The drought is officially over.

The original "Morning Dew" came out July 4 as a B'Day-era track produced by Beyonce, Pharrell, The-Dream, and DIXSON. The remix is a different animal entirely. The beat now pulls from the Isley Brothers' "Between The Sheets," interpolates Sheck Wes' "Mo Bamba," and samples Soulja Boy's "Donk." The production overhaul is significant, and Jay sounds locked in over it, going full "Drunk In Love" energy with unambiguous, blunt bars that fit the track's tone perfectly.
