KATSEYE reimagines their 'Pinky Up' gesture for a new Hershey's Creme Bars partnership.

KATSEYE and Hershey's just locked in a brand collab that feels like a natural extension of what the group has been building. The HYBE x Geffen girl group is fronting the launch of Hershey's new Creme Bars line, with two debut flavors: Salted Caramel and Affogato. The campaign leans into the group's signature "Pinky Up" gesture, reworked for the chocolate brand's broader "Hershey's. It's Your Happy Place" platform.

The Affogato flavor is the more interesting play here. It layers coffee-flavored caramel with vanilla creme, pulling from the Italian dessert and landing somewhere between a candy bar and a cafe order. The Salted Caramel keeps things familiar. Both come in a 2.2-ounce standard bar and a larger 8.4-ounce snack-size pouch, available now at participating retailers.

Why KATSEYE Makes Sense as a Brand Partner Right Now

This collab did not come out of nowhere. KATSEYE just landed their first Billboard 200 No. 1 with their album WILD, which puts them in a very specific tier of global acts: the kind brands actually want to build campaigns around, not just sponsor a post.

Hershey's senior brand manager Katrina Vatter framed it clearly: the Creme Bar launch is about self-expression and "shareable moments," and KATSEYE's fanbase, built through the Dream Academy reality competition and nurtured across social platforms, fits that brief. The group travels between pop and K-influenced production, and their audience skews young, engaged, and brand-aware. That is a useful combination for a product rollout built around discovery.

From the brand side, the campaign includes sampling events, pop-ups planned for fall, and a rollout partnership with Uber during select cultural events. The details on those activations are still light, but if any land in LA, that is worth tracking. Keep an eye on [our events page](/events) for anything that surfaces locally.

Where KATSEYE Stands Heading Into the Wildworld Tour

The collab arrives at a complicated moment for the group. Manon stepped back in February, and Sophia stepped away earlier this month, both citing mental health. HYBE x Geffen confirmed over the weekend that Sophia will miss the European and U.K. legs of the Wildworld Tour, which kicks off September 1 in Dublin. Whether she returns for the North American dates in October has not been confirmed.

Megan also had to sit out the Daisy Chain Fields festival last weekend after spraining her ankle during rehearsals, though the expectation is that she will be ready for the tour. The Hershey's commercial itself was shot with the five-member WILD lineup, before Sophia's hiatus became official.

None of this has slowed the group's momentum in any visible way. A Billboard 200 No. 1, a global tour, and a major brand deal in the same season is a strong hand regardless of the lineup fluctuations behind the scenes.

What This Means for Artists Watching from the Outside

For independent artists and emerging acts, the KATSEYE and Hershey's deal is a useful case study in how brand partnerships get structured at the mid-to-major level. The campaign is not just a logo on a post. It ties the group's existing visual language, the "Pinky Up" gesture, into a product story, gives the brand a cultural entry point, and creates content that travels across both sides of the partnership.

The messaging around individuality and self-expression is not accidental either. Hershey's is leaning into the same language KATSEYE's fanbase already uses to talk about the group. That kind of alignment, where the brand adopts the artist's frame rather than the other way around, is the standard worth aiming for when negotiating creative partnerships.

If you are building toward that kind of moment, the groundwork is in the catalog and the community first. If you are working on music and want it in front of an audience that actually pays attention, [pass the aux](/pass-the-aux) and let us know what you have.
