KATSEYE's Concert Film 'Wild Hearts' Hits Cinemas August 12

KATSEYE will bring their concert documentary KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS to cinemas worldwide starting August 12, 2026. The film held its premiere in Los Angeles ahead of the wide release.

The 80-minute film is directed by Nadia Hallgren, whose previous credits include the Netflix documentary Becoming and the series Black and Missing. It is produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures, in partnership with HYBE x Geffen Records, the same team behind the Netflix series Pop Star Academy, which documented KATSEYE's formation.

According to the release, the film includes never-before-seen footage, fan-submitted videos from the group's fanbase (known as EYEKONS), and interviews with the group members. The film covers the group's time in Dream Academy, the competition series that led to their formation, through what the release describes as their rise to global recognition.

KATSEYE is signed to HYBE x Geffen Records, a joint label venture between the Korean entertainment company HYBE and Geffen Records under Universal Music Group. The group has been covered by outlets including The New York Times, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Billboard, according to the release.
