Mark Ambor Drops New Single "The Proof" With Video

Mark Ambor has released a new single, "The Proof," along with an accompanying music video, through Capitol Records on August 14, 2026. The track is his third release in a new run of music following his 2024 debut album, Rockwood.

What "The Proof" Is About and Who Made It

Ambor wrote "The Proof" on his own during a walk, with the instrumental and melody coming before the lyrics. In a statement included in the release, he described the creative moment directly: "I had just gotten back from tour and was confused about what was next for me. I like to think that no matter where you're at, better days are always ahead, and I wrote 'The Proof' to remind myself of that."

To finish the production, Ambor brought in Noel Zancanella, a frequent collaborator whose credits include work with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and U2. Ambor's bandmates Parker Sundby and Alex Mak also contributed. The music video was directed by Ryan Falcoa, a photographer and filmmaker who has worked with Ambor since his early shows.
