mgk and Yuki Chiba Drop New Single 'JJK' with Official Video

mgk and Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba have released a new collaborative single, 'JJK,' along with an official music video. The single dropped July 27, 2026.

The video was directed by Sam Cahill and features both artists in a Japanese-inspired temple setting with cinematic performance shots. Animated artwork for the single was created by artist Maggiolina.

Yuki Chiba is known for 'Team Tomodachi' and 'Mamushi,' a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion. He has also worked with Murda Beatz, Feid, and Big Sean. According to the release, Chiba has completed headline tours across Australia and Europe and is set to launch his debut North American headlining tour in November 2026.

For mgk, the single comes during a stretch of activity that includes MGK Day 2026 in Cleveland, an annual city-sanctioned event focused on music, art, and community. This year's edition will feature a headlining performance alongside Wiz Khalifa. The release also follows 'blog era boyz,' a collaborative mixtape with Wiz Khalifa that came out in May.

mgk is also scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic 2026 in both Osaka and Tokyo, followed by a pop-up shop appearance in Japan. His tour then moves to Latin America: Mexico City's Estadio Fray Nano on September 3, Rock in Rio on September 5, and São Paulo on September 6.
