Mia Moretti Drops New EP 'GET READY!' August 2026

Mia Moretti has released her new EP GET READY! on August 21, 2026, through her own label Spaghetti Moretti Records. The project is a seven-track package counting five original songs and two remixes, and it arrives while the LA-based DJ and producer is mid-run on a summer of live dates that stretches from New York City to Ibiza.

DJ Mag reviewed the EP on release, writing: "It's a well-balanced collection that captures the LA-producer's familiar fun flavors."

"backseat baby" features Uffie, the French-American electro-pop artist who came up through Ed Banger Records in the mid-2000s, and was co-written by Sarah Hudson, a songwriter with credits for Dua Lipa and Katy Perry. The track received two additional remix treatments: one from Radio Slave, the British techno and house producer known for his work on Rekids, and one from Blakkat. A third remix by Spatial Awareness is available exclusively on Beatport.

The focus track for release day is "Everybody" featuring Vonita White, a Baltimore gospel house vocalist. Moretti described how the song came together: "We were just playing around at the end of the day since we had a little extra time. I brought the track to Blakkat, who I've collaborated with on a lot of this EP, and I let him sort of go wild with the SHABOOM magic. It's a special one near and dear to the heart because I got to incorporate all my favorite elements of gospel house, jackin house, and classic house in one track."

According to the release, "Everybody" was recorded in the same session as "Best I Can," an earlier Moretti and Vonita White collaboration that reimagines a house track whose original vocals White recorded 30 years prior.

The other tracks on the EP are "Want You Now" and the closing track "Desire," which DJ Mag described as having a "loungey, atmospheric" feel.

Moretti plays Pacha in New York City on August 22, the night after the EP drops. Tickets are available through Pacha's website.

For her Ibiza run, she holds a residency at Nocturna, a 380-capacity, no-phones listening room located beneath Los Felices hotel in Cala de Bou. The remaining dates are August 29 and September 5. The residency doubles as a live recording location for her monthly SiriusXM show, Chef's Kiss Radio, which airs on Diplo's Revolution (Ch. 53) on the first Saturday of every month.

Guests appearing across the Nocturna residency series include Abel, Alex Kahan, Barbara Boeing, Heidi Lawden, Hen Yanni, Myd, Radio Slave, Scarlett O'Malley, and Toy Tonics Crew (Kapote and Alot).

Mia Moretti's Background and Prior Releases

Moretti has been active as a DJ for over a decade, building a catalog rooted in vocal house, disco, and sample-driven production. Her debut EP as a producer, Tambor (2023), spotlighted female bullerengue artists from Colombia, including Petrona Martinez and Totó la Momposina. In 2025 she released "Safe With Me" featuring soul vocalist Irma Thomas on Crosstown Rebels, a respected UK house and electronic label, with remixes from David Morales and Tiger Stripes.

GET READY! is her second EP as a producer and her first release on Spaghetti Moretti Records, her own imprint.
