Mollie Elizabeth Drops New Single 'Puppet Show'

Mollie Elizabeth released her new single "Puppet Show" on July 31, 2026. The track was produced by Joshua Murty, with string composition by Kyle Gordon.

The song explores the cost of chasing perfection. The accompanying visualizer, which Mollie directed herself, takes visual cues from the Twilight Zone episode "Eye of the Beholder" and follows her character ingesting a potion and undergoing a procedure that leaves her wrapped like a mummy.

Mollie grew up on an isolated mountain in Washington state's Cascade Range, where she started recording with a $12 microphone. An early demo she shared online became "Vegas Venetian," her breakout single. She released her debut EP, Dirty Blonde, in June 2025 via Neon Gold Records. "Puppet Show" follows previous singles "Vegas Venetian," "Dog Eat Dog," and "Run Rabbit."

For independent artists, Mollie's trajectory is worth noting. She built early traction recording on a budget microphone and sharing demos directly online before landing a label deal, a reminder that the path from bedroom recordings to a Neon Gold release is still very much open.
