Quail P Drops New Single and Video 'Vacation Love' via TWNSHP/Epic Records

Quail P has released his new single and video "Vacation Love" through TWNSHP/Epic Records. The ballad is out now.

Quail P produced the track alongside his music director Poncho The Producer. It was written by Seth Paige, a collaborator he has worked with previously. The song centers on the experience of new love, built around keys and guitars.

The release follows his July drop of "Wouldn't Try Again (Live Session)," a live performance version of an earlier single, and continues a run of activity that also included a 10-date headline tour called In My Own Lane.

Quail P grew up in Macclenny, Florida, a working-class town in Baker County. Before music, he played college football. His debut project Baker Blues introduced his songwriting to a wider audience, and the single "What You Got" from that project has accumulated millions of streams and views across platforms, according to the release. He has received coverage from VIBE, Okayplayer, and Rolling Out.

Comedy and media personality Lil Duval recently invited Quail P to perform at Camp Duval. Duval was quoted describing the experience as "10 times better live."

For independent artists, Quail P's path is worth paying attention to. He walked away from a college football career, built from a debut project, and has now landed at a major label situation while still holding onto a touring and live performance foundation.
