Robyn and Zara Larsson Drop New Collaboration 'Talk To Me, Zara'

Robyn and Zara Larsson have officially released "Talk To Me, Zara", a collaborative single that builds on "Talk To Me" from Robyn's ninth studio album, Sexistential. Larsson added her own verse to the Max Martin-co-produced track and gave it a fresh remix treatment. The result is two Swedish pop architects trading space on the same record, and it works.

The two debuted the song live at Copenhagen's Royal Arena on July 14, when Robyn brought Larsson out as a surprise guest during the final night of the European leg of her Sexistential tour. That kind of live debut before an official release is the move right now. It builds the moment before the song even hits streaming.

How the Robyn and Zara Larsson Collab Came Together

This is actually the second time these two have linked up in 2025. Earlier this year, Robyn contributed a new mix of "Puss Puss" to Larsson's remix album Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, released in May. That project also featured PinkPantheress, Shakira, Tyla, Kehlani, and Madison Beer, which put it well above the standard remix cash-in. "Talk To Me, Zara" is Larsson returning the favor, and the whole exchange feels intentional rather than contractual.

For Robyn, Sexistential already marked a serious return. It was her first album since 2018's Honey and came with her first major headline tour since 2019. She has not needed to prove anything to anyone in a long time, and co-signing Larsson the way she has only adds to that.

For Larsson, the timing is sharp. She picked up her first career Grammy nomination this year for "Midnight Sun" in the Best Pop Dance Recording category. Her 2016 single "Lush Life" went viral and sent her back to the Hot 100 for the first time in roughly a decade, capping what is easily the strongest stretch of her U.S. career. A collab with Robyn in the middle of that momentum is not an accident.
