Skilla Baby Drops 'Show Me Love' Ahead of Debut Album 'The Price of Fame'

Detroit rapper Skilla Baby released a new single, 'Show Me Love,' on July 31, 2026. The track serves as the latest preview of his debut album, 'The Price of Fame,' due August 21 via Geffen Records.

The song carries a straightforward message aimed at real ones and away from fake ones. Skilla raps: 'Don't come around me, with that fake sh*t, my life amazing / 'Cause all the real n*ggas show me love.'

The production on 'Show Me Love' pulls from a lineup that includes Sean Momberger (known for work with Kendrick Lamar and Jack Harlow), Rance (A$AP Rocky, Ella Mai), BoogzDaBeast (Drake, Ye), Warryn Campbell, Hoskins, J. Hill, and Dash.

Skilla has been building toward the album release with a series of singles. 'Face Card,' featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller, was the number one most added song at US Urban Radio, according to the release. Before that, 'GYSM' drew coverage from VIBE, Billboard, and Okayplayer. In March, 'West to East' with 42 Dugg landed as a tribute to Detroit resilience.

The album cover, revealed earlier in July, was inspired by a 1994 photograph of 2Pac. A trailer released alongside the artwork features a conversation between Skilla and 50 Cent about struggle and success.

On the live side, Skilla and Kash Doll made a surprise appearance on Usher and Chris Brown's current tour. He also has two upcoming dates on the books.
