Tom Morello Releases 'Everyone Gets Everything They Want' on Mom + Pop Music

Tom Morello released his solo rock album Everyone Gets Everything They Want on September 25, 2026, via Mom + Pop Music. The 12-track record features collaborations with Kneecap, Serj Tankian, Beartooth, and Roman Morello, Tom's 15-year-old son. The album is available now to stream and download across major platforms.

Morello produced the record with a team of five: Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey, and Sam Nelson Harris. The press release describes the music as spanning multiple styles, with Morello's guitar work at the center throughout.

In a statement accompanying the release, Morello said: "I wanted to make a record that reflected all sides of my career, felt like it was really of the moment, absolutely unforgiving and unwavering in its rock power, big riffs, crazy solos and the political content that I feel in my heart. I make anti fascist songs for anti fascists, anti Nazi songs for anti Nazis and anti racist songs for anti racists. If any of that offends you do the math."

The album tackles immigration rights, fascism, and political conditions as of its recording. Lyrically, several tracks are tied to specific subjects: "Date Night" tells the story of three young Dutch women who worked as spies, saboteurs, and assassins against the Nazis during World War II. "Adjourn It," featuring Serj Tankian and Roman Morello, addresses racism and anti-immigrant sentiment. "Everything Burns," featuring Beartooth, received its in-game debut in the video game Final Fantasy XIV, according to the release.

Roman Morello, who has toured with his father for three years, shares writing credits on five of the 12 songs.

Who Is on the 'Everyone Gets Everything They Want' Album and Why It Matters

The featured artists span rock, metal, and hip-hop. Serj Tankian is best known as the vocalist for System of a Down. Beartooth is an Ohio-based metalcore act fronted by Caleb Shomo. Kneecap is an Irish-language rap trio from Belfast who have drawn significant international attention for their political outspokenness.

On collaborating with Kneecap for focus track "Unconquered," Morello said: "I'm a big fan of Kneecap and they have fearlessly stood up for their beliefs in this time where it can cost you a lot. I reached out to them and they were interested. They asked what I was thinking and I said the song has got to be called 'Unconquered' and it's got to have the spirit of the best of what we've done in our careers. It's an absolute jam."

A music video for "Unconquered" is out now and features live performance footage of both Morello and Kneecap.

Five singles preceded the album: "Soldier in the Army of Love" (June 2024), "Pretend You Remember Me" (July 2025), "Date Night," "Adjourn It," and "Everything Burns."

Mom + Pop Music, founded in 2008, is an independently owned label with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Its roster has included MGMT, Magdalena Bay, Courtney Barnett, Porter Robinson, and Maya Hawke, among others. The label is self-distributed and wholly owned by Michael Goldstone and Thaddeus Rudd.

Beyond Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, Morello has performed with Prophets of Rage, Street Sweeper Social Club, and spent six years playing with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. He has also released music under the solo project name The Nightwatchman.

When Tom Morello Plays Live: Power to the People Festival and 2027 Tour Dates

Morello's next major live event is the Power to the People festival on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The one-day festival, curated by Morello, is listed as sold out. The lineup includes Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black, Serj Tankian, grandson, The Linda Lindas, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, Nathaniel Rateliff, Stephen Stills, Mike McCready, Geezer Butler, State Rad io, Scott Ian, The Last Internationale, Taylor Momsen, Matt Cameron, and a DJ set by Shepard Fairey. Roman Morello is also on the bill.
