Under Armour has locked in a major festival partnership, signing on as the exclusive performance apparel partner and mainstage sponsor for Rolling Loud 2026. The festival runs May 8–10 in Orlando, Florida, and the main stage will carry the Under Armour name — with Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, and NBA YoungBoy set to headline it.

Rolling Loud bills itself as the world's largest hip-hop festival, and this deal puts Under Armour at the center of that cultural moment. It's not just a logo placement — the brand is building out a full on-site presence, including a cooling and hydration activation called Fit for the Pit, where fans can compete in fitness challenges to win gear.

What the Rolling Loud and Under Armour Deal Means for Music and Brand Culture

Under Armour will also use the festival to debut new product exclusively, including HeatGear compression tops and shorts, UV Vanish apparel, and its UA HB-Lo sneaker, which will be given away to attendees. The move signals a clear strategy: reach the next generation of consumers through live music rather than traditional sports marketing.

This follows Under Armour's activation at SXSW earlier this year, where the brand worked with its regenerative label Unless Collective on a limited Filmmakers Jacket. Festival sponsorship is becoming a core part of their playbook — and hip-hop is clearly at the top of that list.

For independent artists and creators, this is worth paying attention to. Brand partnerships at the festival level are no longer reserved for major label acts or legacy artists. The appetite is there from brands looking to attach themselves to live music culture, and that creates real opportunity — sponsorship dollars, product deals, and collaborative activations are increasingly flowing into the festival ecosystem at every tier.

If you're an artist or creative building toward festival stages, the infrastructure around events like Rolling Loud is expanding. Brands want presence at the intersection of music, youth culture, and performance — and they're willing to spend on it. Watch for how Under Armour rolls out content around the festival — they've confirmed live updates and behind-the-scenes coverage across Instagram and TikTok. That content strategy alone is a playbook independent artists can borrow from when working with brand partners at their own shows.
