Electric Callboy just dropped "Let the Good Times Roll," the latest preview of their incoming album TANZNEID, and they brought The Offspring's Dexter Holland along for the ride. The German electronicore act has been building serious global momentum, and this collab signals they are not slowing down.
The track does exactly what you expect from Electric Callboy: metalcore breakdowns sitting right next to techno drops and pop hooks that refuse to let you keep a straight face. Holland's voice, the same one behind "Come Out and Play" and "Self Esteem," fits the chaos better than it probably should. The two worlds collide in a way that feels less like a gimmick and more like a genuine meeting of compatible energies.
For the band, this one carries real personal weight. "The Offspring have been one of the bands that shaped us from the very beginning," Electric Callboy said in a statement. "Their music was part of our lives long before Electric Callboy even existed, so having Dexter on this song honestly feels surreal." Holland echoed the sentiment, saying the track "immediately put a grin on our faces" and that he had a blast being part of it.
What the TANZNEID Era Means for Electric Callboy's Global Rise
TANZNEID drops August 7, and this single is the second look at what the band is building toward. Electric Callboy already proved they can move numbers at scale. Their 2022 album TEKKNO racked up hundreds of millions of streams, and viral cuts like "Hypa Hypa," "We Got the Moves," and "RATATATA" with BABYMETAL turned them into one of heavy music's most streamed acts worldwide. TANZNEID is shaping up to be their biggest swing yet.
The timing is deliberate. The band is currently deep into European festival season, playing Rock am Ring and Rock im Park this week. From there, a full Australian tour runs through September with Ice Nine Kills and Coldrain in support. The September 12 Brisbane date is already sold out, and the rest of the run is moving fast.
For independent artists watching this: Electric Callboy built their audience almost entirely through viral content, genre blending, and relentless touring before the industry fully understood what they were doing. The Dexter Holland feature is not a desperate reach for credibility. It is a band at the top of their lane choosing collaborators who genuinely share their spirit, and it shows. That approach, putting culture and energy above conventional genre logic, is worth paying attention to no matter what kind of music you make.
TANZNEID is available for pre-order now. The video for "Let the Good Times Roll" is out across platforms.
