Jodeci has signed with Day After Day Productions for booking, and the announcement came packaged with something fans have been waiting on: a 36-city U.S. reunion tour launching October 24, 2025 at The Masonic in San Francisco. The run is built around the 35th anniversary of Forever My Lady, the group's 1991 debut that put R&B in a chokehold.

Forever My Lady peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and sent "Come & Talk to Me" to No. 11 on the Hot 100. What followed was a run of albums that shaped modern R&B. Diary of a Mad Band hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200. The Show, the After Party, the Hotel debuted at No. 2. Their cover of Stevie Wonder's "Lately," from the Uptown MTV Unplugged album, climbed to No. 4 on the Hot 100 in 1993. The catalog still holds up.

What the Jodeci Reunion Tour Means for R&B in 2026

Seth Shomes, founder and CEO of Day After Day Productions, called Jodeci "the blueprint for modern R&B" in a statement, and that is not an overstatement. The group's influence runs through almost every contemporary R&B artist working right now, from the vocal layering to the slow-jam production style that DeVante Swing essentially invented for a generation.

K-Ci Hailey and Mr. Dalvin said in a joint statement: "The love and connection we share with our fans is unmatched and this tour is for them." UMG also quietly dropped an expanded vinyl reissue of Forever My Lady on July 17, so the anniversary rollout has already begun.

Jodeci last reunited in 2015 for The Past, the Present, the Future on Epic Records. A decade later, with a full booking agency behind them and a 36-city routing confirmed, this is a much more serious operation.

For independent artists and creators watching this, the playbook here is worth noting. A catalog anniversary paired with a vinyl reissue, a new agency signing, and a major tour announcement is a coordinated campaign, not just a nostalgia play. Legacy artists who own their story and time their moves right can re-enter the market with real commercial weight.
