Post Malone is taking the Big Ass World Tour to Australia and New Zealand this October, and Live Nation is calling it the largest headline run he has ever done in the region. Four stadium stops are confirmed, with Don Toliver joining as special guest for every date.
The run opens at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on October 9, moves to Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on October 12, then Sydney's ENGIE Stadium on October 15, and wraps at Auckland's Go Media Stadium on October 21. Beyond the stadiums, Post will also headline three Strummingbird Festival appearances in Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast across the same stretch.
Post Malone's Big Ass World Tour Comes Off the Biggest Year of His Career
This tour is not happening in a vacuum. F-1 Trillion, Post's debut country album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned eight Grammy nominations at the 2025 ceremony. Its lead single "I Had Some Help" with Morgan Wallen sat on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for six straight weeks, posting the highest weekly sales and streams of any song since 2020. His catalogue now includes nine diamond-certified singles, including "Sunflower," the first song in RIAA history to hit double diamond status.
He sold out arenas across Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and headlined Spilt Milk Festival. Stepping up to stadiums is the natural next move, and the demand is clearly there.
Don Toliver is not just filling a support slot. The Houston artist has placed all five of his studio albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. His most recent project, OCTANE, debuted at No. 1 with 162,000 equivalent album units and 423 million first-week global streams. He is currently wrapping a 31-city North American OCTANE Tour before heading to the southern hemisphere with Post.
Tickets, Presales, and What Fans Need to Know
Artist presale opens Tuesday, May 26. General on sale follows Thursday, May 28. Mastercard holders in Australia and Westpac Mastercard holders in New Zealand get early access starting May 26 as well. VIP packages are available through vipnation.com.
For anyone tracking live music trends, this is worth watching. Two artists at the top of the charts, playing the largest venues either has touched in this region, with a festival component layered in. That kind of scale signals real audience growth for both Post and Toliver outside North America.
For independent artists and labels paying attention, the lesson here is straightforward. Post Malone built this moment across multiple genre pivots, from hip-hop to country, while keeping his core audience locked in. Toliver is doing the same, expanding his reach tour by tour. If you are trying to understand how artists build international momentum, watching how these two execute a run of this size is a masterclass in timing.
