SOMBR, the New York-based artist signed to Warner Records, has added a fifth night at The O2 arena in London after four dates sold out upon announcement. The fifth show, June 29, 2027, is on sale now. The London run is part of the You Are The Reason 2027 world arena tour. On the North American side, the tour starts September 29 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

SOMBR is the stage name of Shane Boose, a 21-year-old from New York City who writes all of his own material and co-produces his entire catalog. He got his start recording in a bedroom studio on the Lower East Side.

SOMBR's Music: From "Back to Friends" to "My Body Isn't Ready"

SOMBR broke through in 2025 with "Back to Friends," which according to the press release reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and charted for 52 weeks. The release says it also hit No. 1 on Spotify's Global and U.S. charts and spent five weeks at No. 1 on Alternative Radio.

His debut album, I Barely Know Her, followed that same summer and included "Undressed" and "12 to 12," both of which the release says reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Global 200 and the Hot 100.

He then released "Homewrecker," which the release describes as his fifth entry on the Billboard Global 200 and his highest first-week debut to date. His most recent single, "My Body Isn't Ready," has become his fourth consecutive Top 10 at U.S. Pop Radio, according to the release. Both "Homewrecker" and "My Body Isn't Ready" have received 2026 VMA nominations: Best Alternative for "Homewrecker" and Best Art Direction for "My Body Isn't Ready."

Earlier in 2026, SOMBR received a Best New Artist Grammy nomination and performed on the Grammy telecast. The release also notes he won Best Alternative at the MTV VMAs in a prior cycle and has appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Saturday Night Live.

This summer's European festival run included surprise guest appearances from Zara Larsson, SLAYYTER, Adéla, and two members of The Cranberries identified in the release as Mike and Noel.

All music is available to stream on major platforms. SOMBR is on Warner Records.

What Independent Artists Can Take From This Campaign

SOMBR's rollout makes one thing plain: the live show is the engine. His team did not wait for the arena run to start before announcing Europe and the UK, which let demand for London build fast enough to require a fifth date before the North American leg even opened. If you are an independent artist planning your next run, [submit your dates to our events calendar](/events) so the community can follow along. The pattern here is consistent releases tied directly to tour announcements, with each single extending radio presence rather than replacing the last one. That catalog depth is what fills arenas.
