Wizkid is heading back to Lagos for Detty December Fest 2026, confirmed as the opening night headliner for the festival's second annual run. The Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar will take the stage on December 18, kicking off a two-week celebration of music, culture, food, and fashion that runs through December 30.

Livespot360, the entertainment production company that previously brought Cardi B to Nigeria and Ghana for her first-ever performances on the continent, returns as producer. Tickets are on sale now at the festival's official website.

Detty December Fest launched last year and drew over 40,000 festivalgoers, with a lineup that included Busta Rhymes, Gunna, Shenseea, Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platnumz, and Wizkid himself. Wizkid will headline the flagship Festival Stage, while the new Pulse Stage is designed specifically for emerging artists and next-generation African talent.
